Lockhart River Inidgenous Arts Centre will offer four artists per year the opportunity to come and live and work with and learn from our artists on a one week artuist residency.

On this residency you will live in accommodation similiar to the local accommodation so its the real deal - nothing fancy. You will live at the Arts Centre painting each day with the indigenous artists under the mentorship of Josiah Omeenyo and the centre's Artistic Director. You will eat lunch each day with the artists. You will arrive on Monday afternoon and leave the following Monday afternoon.

What you need to bring

• yourself
• your ideas
• an openess to new experiences and people
• clothes
• towel
• You will be responsible for your own travel (see your state funding bodies to enquire about funding possibilities).
• You will be responsible for your own breakfast and dinner
